Daniella DuMaurier is the younger daughter of the former Alpha of the Australian Pack, Gavin Wright. In the Australian Pack only the Alpha may have a mate and it is tradition for the new Alpha to take the eldest daughter of the previous Alpha as his mate. Daniella's older sister Rose was betrothed to Keith Tynes the Alpha-elect but during the events of Chivalrous she planned with Tynes to become his mate instead of her sister. Tynes agreed to the plan as he didn't want submissive Rose for his mate as he viewed Daniella as a ruthless alpha female who would do anything for the Pack, a more suitable mate.
Daniella was aware that Reese Williams, the son of a former Pack member wanted by the Alpha was attending Melbourne University after he'd been scented there by a mutt, she seduced him to gain the location of his parents, once she had that information she led Tynes, his brother and other Pack members to them where they killed Reese's father which resulted in his mother's suicide.
When confronted by Reese she was unrepentant about her actions, wanting only to stop him from revealing to Tynes that they had slept together.
She is described by Reese as having dark hair, pale skin and being small and pretty. Reese believed she was shy and quiet but this was all an act, during sex and after the murder of his parents he saw the true side of her, hot-blooded, passionate and ruthless. Keith Tynes remarks that there is nothing she wouldn't do for her Pack no matter how unpleasant.
As with Madison James, Daniella can not Change into a wolf and lacks a Werewolves secondary powers except for her sense of smell. Although it is doubtful that her sense of smell is as strong as a Werewolves it is heightened enough to allow her to recognize the scent of a Werewolf.
In the graphic novel Bounty Hunt she is stated to have been the one to come up with the plan that Madison first uses to try to lure Reese Williams in so he could be captured.
