Derek Souza is a young werewolf who appears as a main character in the Darkest Powers Trilogy, and is mentioned in Driven. He is son of Zachary Cain and a subject in the Genesis II project.

When someone is hunting members of the Cain family, Elena Michaels asks the surviving members if there are any other family members they should contact. At first Theo Cain demurs, but then he remembers Derek. He says that Derek is Zachary's son, although Zachary didn't know it.
