Elizabeth 'Liz' Delaney was Chloe Saunders's roommate at Lyle House. The night that Chloe arrived at Lyle House, Liz was taken away and killed by The Edison Group who believed Liz's powers and her inability to control them were too dangerous. After her death she became able to utilise her powers and became a poltergeist.
She appears as a ghost to Chloe through out the rest of the series, constantly helping her friends when they're in trouble. Liz is a Volo Half-Demon, the highest sub type of telekinetic half-demon. Her father is the Lord demon Belial. She lived with her Nana, because her mom was a drug addict.
Liz appeared during the events of the novella Belonging . After Chloe's boyfriend Derek was captured by his Werewolf family the Cain's she attempted to aid in his escape at Chloe's behest.
Liz later appears in the final novella Atoning. Sometime after Chloe and her friends arrived at Badger Lake Liz has moved on to the afterlife. Chloe describes her as having grown up a bit since, descriving her as less flighty and unfocused than she was in life. Liz had a crush on Corey Carling but was aware it wouldn't work because he was still alive. She has a boyfriend named Mitchell in the afterlife, presumably a fellow supernatural.
During the events of Atoning Chloe calls Liz from the afterlife and she helps Chloe and the others by scouting the building they are held in and using her powers to distract and attack their captors.
