Men of the Otherworld is the first of Kelley Armstrong's collection of Otherworld short stories and novellas. Unlike other short story collections it features primarily prequel stories and focuses particularly on two main characters, Jeremy Danvers and Clayton Danvers.
The first story is about Jeremy's conception and birth, the second about Clay being brought to Stonehaven, the third about Jeremy's rise to Alpha and what Clay did behind the scenes, with the fourth having Jeremy discover more about himself as an adult.
- Savage (Clayton Danvers) Beginning in 1967. A Bitten prequel novella, covering Clayton's childhood.
- Ascension (Clayton Danvers) 1972. Ascension is a continuation of Savage, a novella that tells of Jeremy's rise to Alpha.
- Kitsunegari (Jeremy Danvers) 2007. A short story with Jeremy and Jaime. Jeremy discovers what his mother was.
